Marcello Lunardon, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor in Experimental Physics of Fundamental Interactions at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Padua. Over 20 years of experience in the field of Experimental and Applied Nuclear Physics. He has collaborated in fundamental physics experiments at the Legnaro National Laboratories, the Cyclotron Institute at Texas A&M University and at CERN in Geneva.
On the application side, he has devoted himself to the development of innovative ionizing radiation detection systems in civil security and environmental monitoring applications. He has worked in numerous national and international projects funded by universities, INFN and the European Commission, both as a participant and coordinator. He is co-author of over 400 scientific publications in international journals.
He is a founding partner of the spin-off Finapp s.r.l. where he is mainly involved in the technical development of sensors as Product Manager.
