BWE represents the water present within the biomass as well as hydrogen present in the biomass tissue. It is a historically difficult parameter to measure, but one that gives an excellent indication of the growth status of a crop. Finapp’ probes are the only ones that can provide a representative large-scale, real-time BWE measurement, giving farmers objective data on the growth of their crops.
