Early-warning is used to predict an hazard situation that will affect a given geographic area, in a given time frame, due to one or more adverse phenomena such as flooding, landslides, fire. Finapp produces a forecast for the risk of landslides, floods, and fires, based on soil moisture data measured by Finapp’ probes, past and future weather data, and ad hoc models.
