Weather forecast are the application of knowledge of atmospheric science and technology to predict the state of the atmosphere (weather) at a future time and at a specific place. Weather prediction is calculated by numerical forecasting models, which are mathematical models of the Earth’s atmosphere that use current weather conditions (atmospheric state) as input or initialization and the fundamental equations of the model itself for weather prediction at later times (prognosis). Finapp integrates weather forecasts to predict future soil moisture conditions, to provide early-warning for the risk of landslides, floods, fires, and to provide irrigation advice in agriculture.
