Marcello Lunardon
Marcello Lunardon, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor in Experimental Physics of Fundamental Interactions at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padua. Over 20 years of experience in the field of Experimental and Applied Nuclear Physics.
He has collaborated in fundamental physics experiments at the Legnaro National Laboratories, the Cyclotron Institute of Texas A&M University and at CERN in Geneva. On the application side, he dedicated himself to the development of innovative ionizing radiation detection systems in civil safety and environmental monitoring applications. He has worked in numerous national and international projects funded by universities, INFN and the European Commission, both as a participant and as a coordinator. He is co-author of over 400 scientific publications in international journals.
He is a founding partner of the spin-off Finapp s.r.l. where he mainly deals with the technical development of sensors as Product Manager.
